Prof. Dr. Frank Kelleter
Frank Kelleter, born 1965, is Chair of the Department of Culture and Einstein Professor of North American Cultural History at John F. Kennedy Institut, Freie Universität Berlin. His main fields of interest include the American colonial and Enlightenment periods, theories of American modernity, and American media and popular culture since the 19th century.
He is the speaker of the Research Unit "Popular Seriality—Aesthetics and Practice" in which he directs the sub-projects "Authorization Practices of Serial Narration" (with Daniel Stein) and "The Dynamics of Serial Outbidding (Überbietung)" (with Andreas Jahn-Sudmann).
